How did you get your role as Oscar
I just auditioned like everyone else but I didn't know what the show was, my name was different at the audition but it was close to who Oscar is.
Did your character have a backstory which was not shown/cut? If not, did you create one for yourself?
Only backstory was he had a family and got arrested, for Breaking and Entering.
When did you find out Oscar was going to die?
I found out reading the script and I was shocked because no one told me.
Several groups and lots of fans have started "Bring Back Oscar " petitions, would you return to the show?
Of course I would return because I had a lot more to offer and I think people connected with my character a little better than some of the new characters. Sometimes you want to see the under dog win and everyone in prison isn't a bad person they just made a bad choice..Oscar brought, strength, loyalty, sex appeal for the ladies, humor (with Axel), trust.
Did you watch the show or read the graphic novel prior to your role?
I never watched the show nor heard of the novels.
Who are your favorite characters?
Favorite characters where Rick, Hershel and Axel because they where strong actors that I really respected. Not saying everyone else wasn't but those three I enjoyed the most.
What is the atmosphere like on the set of such a serious, dramatic show?
Serious, loving, respectful.
Was there anymore to the scenes that didn't make it past post-production with you in them?
I believe Michonne and I had a slight beef because I didn't trust her...why it didn't make it who knows.
Do you have any interesting or funny stories from your time on the set?
Throwing walkers in the fire before they said action and almost getting cursed out but it was so hot that day I started hearing things...
What was the best thing about working on The Walking Dead?
Best thing was getting to know the real people before I watched any episodes.
Are you currently working on anything interesting that you can reveal?
Psych came on tonight (28th of July), Jay Z and Beyonce video, Live-Evil and 4Play coming soon, a play called Secrets, shot a short film called Mirror Mirror, a pilot and that's about it.
