Bill Vella portrayed an unnamed Woodbury resident who was brought to the Prison.
What role/roles have you had in The Walking Dead?
I was a resident of Woodbury in season 3 and was one of the survivors who came to the prison on the bus in the season's final episode. In season 4, I was just one of the group in the prison. I fired the shotgun in the cell block in the second episode and went into quarantine in episode 3. I haven't been in the show since then.
Which episodes did you appear in?
Episodes 2 and 3 this season. I don't know the specific ones in season 3 (except for the finale), but it was I think 4 different ones.
Did your character have a name or backstory which was not shown/cut? If not, did you create one for yourself?
No name or story. I didn't create one other that joking called myself the "crazy guy with the shotgun".Did you watch the show or read the graphic novel prior to your role?
I watched the show. By the way, the part were I fired the shotgun was included in the season 4 trailer.
Who is your favorite character?
That's a hard one. I guess I'd have to go with Daryl. Or maybe Glenn.
Can you confirm the fate of your character?
No. I was left sick in quarantine. A lot of bad stuff happened in there. My guess is I didn't survive.
What is the atmosphere like on the set of such a serious, dramatic show?
The atmosphere on set can be intense when they are trying to get the scene down and when the cameras are rolling. Everyone's working hard. It's a lot easier going when they are changing the camera angles. A bit more joking around and such. But it is always very professional. Was there anymore to the scenes that didn't make it past post-production with you in them?
I don't recall any.
Do you have any interesting or funny stories from your time on the set?
I though it was interesting in how many tourist type people were hanging around Senoia to see if they could get a peek at the filming.
What was the best thing about working on The
Just being associated with a highly popular TV show!
If a zombie apocalypse were to happen, would you rather be in Woodbury or the prison?
Woodbury would have been great had it not been for the Governor. Looks like the prison has a lot of problems, both inside and out.
Are you currently working on anything interesting that you can reveal?
Can't say anything about it, but the next Hunger Games.
